Research Award - A research stipend of up to $2000 awarded annually in support of small projects which aim to increase our understanding of wildlife diseases in Australasia.
Student Awards - There are a number of awards available to WDA-A student members, including an award for best student presentation at the annual WDA-A conference.
Barry L. Munday Recognition Award - The Award aims to recognise the significant contributions to wildlife health made by a member of the Australasian Section in the preceding 5 years.
The Dave Spratt Award - In 2013, the WDA-A executive committee established a new award, to honour a long standing WDA-A member who has made an outstanding contribution to our Section. The award is named the Dave Spratt Award (fondly referred to as “The Spratty Award”) in recognition of one of the founding members of our Section, Dave Spratt.
The WDA parent body also gives several awards and provides funding to recognize outstanding work in wildlife health and service to the WDA. Find out more here.
